Summer intensive course

It is very interesting question. Every day millions of people work online, but nobody thinks about feelings that people percept beign online. I think that in our times internet has become a common thing for humans, we are got accustomed to it.

However if I will try to think about it some feelings can be found. For me it is like an unlimited cyberspace. I think, for example, if a person is connected to internet when he or she see the screen of computer he looks to the whole world. If he search smth in a site of Germany he connects to this country or chats with a person from Africa he imagines his feeling of Africa. I mean perception is made because of our imagination and online helps to form it.

Wikipedia is like a big encyclopedia, but it does not lie somewhere in a library. It’s a big big online source. On my opinion it has one big advantage and one big disadvantage. Advantage is that wikipedia is the online source. That means access to it is unlimited, everyone who has computer and internet can read it and find for different information. Just imagine how many people read it every day!!! There is no any library in the whole world that can provide millions of people with information, space, abilities and tools. It’s impossible in reality however possible in WEB.

Disadvantage of Wikipedia is lack of information on concrete terms. I mean that there is enormous amount of information, many terms, concepts, definitions, but it doesn’t give the visitors enough information on these terms. In general there is much info – lack of info on concrete terms.

When you read his site it’s becoming obvious that this person like movies. So do I. And that is why I like this site. It was interesting to me. In general the site is proper designed with several posts. About posts: I like the ideas and opinions he posted. About posts: I totally agree with a feedback on Pirates of Carribean 3. It’s really amazing and very fascinating movie. So all in all he is doing a good job.

Baristanet (Aizhana, Vadim, Maks, Natalya S.)

Site of Baristanet is an online community. It attracts people who are interested in online journalism. Interests of this online community are very different. This site is for people with many interests in life and who want to know everything. It’s like a coffee shop. In this site information about almost everything is available: about crimes, food, social interests and new innovations.

I have a car. This is a sports car. And some of my friends have the same cars. I think that we connected into a community. Our community is called “Subaru club”. We used to meet each other in a special place in special time. There we talk to each other about cars and tuning. We help each other with some problems or just give advice. Our interests have built our community.

In my opinion Journalsim is everything connected with information. I mean collecting, editing and publishing data that can be usefull and interesting for society. With the help of books, magazins, newspapers people get knowledge. Journalists are responsible for it. It is their job.

As other students of the NIT course I have my own weblog. It’s very usefull, because it helps me to find some usefull information. Before this I searched for information in rambler.ru and there were many advertising sites like rubbish. But in my blog it’s more efficient to search for sites. I mean that there is less spam in process of searching.
